We would prefer visitors to arrive by public transport, cycling, or on foot as there will be road closures and no parking around the village on Fair Day. Five Star Taxis are on 01273 846666, Hassocks Station is 1.3 miles away and can be cycled in 10 minutes or walked in about 26 minutes.

The information on this website applies to the 2016 Ditchling Fair. Obviously the information on how to get to Ditchling hasn't changed, but the timings are yet to be decided - the site will be updated when the 2018 programme of events is finalised. Road closures

West Street will be closed to traffic between 08:00 and 17:00 on fair day. This closure runs from the crossroads in the middle of Ditchling to Beaconhurst on the Keymer road.

The High Street will be closed to traffic between 08:00 and 14:30 on Fair day. This closure runs from the crossroads in the middle of Ditchling to the junction with East End Lane.

Diversion signeage will be up from early on Fair Day and there will be marshalls to help enforce the road closures and assist in explaining the diversion routes

You can view a PDF of the road closures for Fair Day here.
