We believe that websites should be accessible to everyone. Online accessibility, otherwise known as inclusive design, is about making sure that everyone has equal access to information on websites regardless of their physical abilities or disabilities.

There are a few simple ways you can improve the readability of our website listed below:

Page Zoom
Many current browsers offer the facility to enlarge/reduce the displayed page in the browser window using ctrl or cmd and the + and - keys. Browsers included are: Chrome, Explorer, Firefox and Safari.

  • In Windows use the ctrl + and - keys.
  • In Mac use the cmd + and - keys.

Older Browsers
If you find the text size too small for you to read, you can enlarge the page by using the following controls:

  • In Internet Explorer, use the Page > Zoom menu.
  • In Opera, use the Zoom selector (bottom right of window).
  • If you use a wheel-mouse, you may be able to change the text size by holding down the Control or Command key and turning the wheel.

You can use your computer system to improve readability and interactivity:

Go to System Preferences / Accessibility
Features include: Display Contrast, Invert Colours, Zoom, VoiceOver, Cursor Size, Captions, Sticky Keys.

Go to PC Settings / Ease of Access
Features include: Narrator, Magnifier, High Contrast, Keyboard Sticky Keys, Mouse Pointer Size and Colour.

Ditchling Fair is run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers. Not only is it hugely rewarding helping with the lead up as the fair comes together, but also on the day itself it is simply wonderful to be able to get involved and ensure the fair’s success.
